Artis Zoo

The Artis Zoo is a great place for families to visit. Children love visiting the 6,000 animals in their native habitats. Originally established in 1838, the zoo has many activities to offer children and adults alike. The Artis Zoo also houses a Planetarium, an Aquarium, and a Geological and Zoological Museum. The Children's Farm section allows for petting of sheep, goats, cows, and chickens.
