How does MyTourPal work?
MyTourPal offers hotel rooms and accommodation deals up to 28 days in advance.
The rates reflected on MyTourPal are discounted because the hotels would rather
sell the room at a highly discounted rate than not at all.
Am I getting the best price for my hotel accommodation?
Our hotel partners use MyTourPal as a means of selling rooms that they may not
sell through their sales and marketing activities. With this in mind, hotels
place exceptional offers on our website.
Why should I book with MyTourPal?
MyTourPal is available all times all days. We have a huge selection of hotels
that offer last minute deals. Hence if you are planning for a trip within 28
days, you will get wide variety of choices and great discount when you book
through us. You will be presented with search results of all hotels for your
selected destination, for each hotel, there is complete information like the
address, description, amenities, photos and policies. Take all your time to
browse through all hotels and make your selection, we won't rush you :)
Will MyTourPal sell my personal information
All information submitted through our website is kept confidential. For more
information, refer to our Security and Privacy

How can I be sure that my credit card information is safe?
We treat our clients' information matter very seriously. To ensure your
security, all credit card transactions are secured by SSL (Secure Socket
Layer), which encrypts the credit card number so as to make it unavailable to
any other party. We are currently using 128 bit SSL encryption which is the
industry standard offering maximum protection so that you can make your online
booking with confidence. For any reason if you have concern with submitting
your credit card information online, you can contact us by phone or email
during our opening hours, we will help you to make a reservation securely. You
can also send your credit card details by fax. When you come to the "Booking
Details", fill in the details and click "Send by Fax" button, the page will be
printed and fax the form to us. We strongly encourage all our clients to
book via our secure online booking, as this is the only way to ensure that
the rooms and rates of your choice is available for your reservation
and allow us to confirm your reservation instantly. Doing it by phone/fax/email
is subjected to our opening hours and availability of our customer service
agents.
Search for Hotels
How do I search for hotels?
You could either use the search box or by accessing Hotel Listings from the top
menu.
Search Box :
a) Search by hotel location -
Enter check in/out dates, indicate whether to retrieve all hotels or just
available hotels, choose the number of room(s) required. Select country follow
by city and location, alternatively, just enter the city name. Choose all star
ratings or just selected ratings and click "Search" button.
b) Search by hotel name -
Enter check in/out dates, indicate whether to retrieve all hotels or just
available hotels, choose the number of room(s) required. Enter part of or the
entire hotel name, (the search is not case sensitive) and click Search button.
Hotel Listings :
Click on Hotel Listings on the top menu and you will see some popular
destinations, click on the destination to see the map and last minute
accommodation available. For each accommodation, you will see the location,
star ratings and minimum rates, click on them to see details like address,
description, photos, maps, rates, policies etc.
Select Hotels
How do I select a hotel?
If you search by using Search Box: You will be presented with results that
satisfy your search criteria. Each hotel has a name, location, star ratings,
room types and our nightly rates, mouse over the nightly rates to see what is
included in the rate e.g. the rate may show that it include American buffet
breakfast for 2. For more information like description, address, amenities and
policies of each hotel, click on the "more hotel info" link. To proceed with
booking, click on the "Book" button.
If you search by Hotel Listings: You can click on the hotel name on the list to
see more information of the hotel. On the "Hotel Detail" page, you will be able
to select your check in/out dates and check availability.
Is the hotel available for the period of my request?
On the "Search Result" and "Hotel Details" page, you will see "Book" or
"Unavailable" button on right hand side of each rate type.
"Book " means book online and get instant confirmation. The
hotel is available for the dates you have selected. Once you submit your
reservation form and payment details, the booking will be confirmed instantly.
The credit card will be charged and your confirmation will be displayed on the
screen, where you will be able to view and print out your "Confirmation
Voucher" that you will require during check-in. The voucher will also be sent
to the email address you specified in the booking request. The value charged
depends on how much the hotel requires you to pay in order to secure the
booking. Some may not require you to pay at all but some require you to prepay
in full.
"Unavailable " means fully booked or unavailable. The hotel is
fully booked for at least one of the dates you selected. The reasons for this
may be the following:

Your selected dates occur during peak season or special events eg. New Years
Eve, local festivals or conventions.

We cannot accept reservations where the check-in date selected does not allow
enough time to process your request. We can only accept bookings with the
check-in date a set number of days from the date the reservation is sent to us.
For Australia, New Zealand and Asia - at least ONE day ahead. For Europe, North
America and Africa - at least THREE days ahead. If the check-in date selected
falls inside the above cut-off(s), all hotels will be shown as Unavailable.

The hotel selected has a "minimum night stay" policy. I.e. The minimum length
of stay allowed is two nights and you have selected one night.
Are the booking and the rate guaranteed?
Yes. All bookings are taken from room inventory provided and updated
constantly. The booking is confirmed with the hotel the moment you receive your
booking confirmation. There are only a limited number of rooms available at
these special rates so book early to get the best deal.
Can I sort the search results?
The search result page displays 15 hotels on one page, if there are more than
15 hotels, you can scroll down to the bottom on the page and click on a page
number to show other hotels. The hotels are not returned in any particular sort
order. To sort by name, price, location or star, choose in the "Sort" dropdown
and click "Go" button.
What currency are the rates in?
The rates for the hotel are usually in the local currency of the hotel. Look
out at the top of the Search Result page and you can see the currency. You can
also show the rates in a different currency by selecting a currency in the
"Change Currency" dropdown and click "Go" button. Any currency conversion is
based on today's exchange rate. Please note that your credit will be charged in
the original currency for the hotel and our converted amount may not be the
same as the amount on your credit card bill since each day's exchange rate is
different.
Are the rates in per person per night or per room per night?
Rates shown are in per room per night unless otherwise stated. For apartments,
the rates are shown in per apartment per night unless otherwise stated.
Are the rates inclusive of taxes and service charges?
The rates may be inclusive or exclusive of taxes and service charge, this
information is usually displayed on top of a page. Once you have selected a
hotel of your choice you will be presented the "Booking Details" page where
your itinerary will be listed with total booking charge, taxes and service
charge and deposit payable upon to the hotel.
Are the rates inclusive of breakfasts, newspaper etc?
On the "Search Result" page, please move your mouse over the rate to see all
inclusions provided (breakfast, newspaper, parking etc). If the rate is not
underlined then the rate specified is for room only.
Hotel Facilities
What is the cost of car parking at the hotel?
All the information that is available to us about facilities at the hotel is
displayed on the website. For information not already stated on our website
regarding room facilities or hotel facilities, please contact the hotel
directly. The contact information will be displayed on your Confirmation
Voucher.
Are airport transfers available with my accommodation?
You may contact the hotel or the information desk at the airport on arrival to
arrange your transfers.
Where can I find contact details for a hotel?
The hotel's street address is shown on the "Hotel Detail" page. Once a booking
has been confirmed, we will issue a Confirmation Voucher, which also states all
the hotel's contact details.
How do I find directions to the hotel?
The directions information of the hotel is listed on the "Hotel Detail" page.
There are also information to help identify the distance from the hotel to
certain landmarks or the airport.
Could you send me maps and/or other information about the
hotel?
All the information regarding the hotel (such as facilities and rates) is
located on the "Hotel Detail" page. For additional information, you may contact
the hotel directly.
Select Rooms and Meals
What does single, twin, double and extra bed mean?
Single: Room has 1 single bed for 1 adult only.
Twin: Room has 2 single beds for 2 adults.
Double: Room has 1 large Queen / King size bed to accommodate
2 adults.
Triple: Room has either 3 single beds, or 1 large Queen / King
size bed and 1 single bed, or equivalent to accommodate 3 adults.
Family / Quad: Room has either 4 single beds, or 1 large Queen
/ King size bed and 2 single beds, or equivalent to accommodate 4 adults.
Junior Suite / Suite: Consists of a bedroom and small living
room. Usually accomodate 2 adults unless otherwise stated.
1 Bedroom Apartment: 1 Bedroom, small living room, small
kitchen and 1 toilet. Usually accommodate 2 adults unless otherwise stated.
2 Bedroom Apartment: 2 Bedrooms, small living room, small
kitchen and 1 toilet. Usually accommodate 4 adults unless otherwise stated.
3 Bedroom Apartment: 3 Bedrooms, small living room, small
kitchen and 1 toilet. Usually accommodate 6 adults unless otherwise stated.
Extra bed: For 1 adult, extra bed(s) may be added for extra
person, number of extra bed allowed is subjected to policies of each hotel.
What is the difference between these room types - Standard,
Superior and Deluxe?
Each hotel will have different classification. Generally, the difference is in
the room size and facilities of the room. For example, a Standard room will be
smaller compared to a Deluxe. Some room size will not be able to accommodate
requests for extra beds. You should also refer to each room's facilities to see
what are available in each room type. For example, attached bathroom, heater,
mini bar etc.
Why do I have to select meals?
If the room type that you book is, for example, "Standard Room including
Breakfast", breakfasts do not need to be added to the Itinerary. This also
applies if breakfast listed is part of the Rate Inclusions (place mouse over
our nightly rates to see what is included). However, if the website states that
the rate includes breakfasts for up to 2 guests, and there are more than 2
guests staying, you will need to add any additional breakfasts to the Itinerary
as required. Optionally, you can also make your own meals arrangement when you
arrive at the hotel.
Confirm booking and payment
What do I have to do to confirm my booking?
Review everything that's presented to you on the "Booking Details" page. If
it's incorrect, go back to amend your selection. If it's correct, enter your
details as well as credit card information and click "continue" button.
Can I send my credit card details by fax?
For any reason if you have concern with submitting your credit card information
online, you can click on the "Send by Fax" button which is actually to print out
the "Booking Detail" page. Make sure you've filled in the required information
prior to printing. After it's been printed you may fax to us at the number
stated to our Travel Reservation Center. We encourage all our clients to book
via our secure booking, as this is the only way to ensure that the rooms and
rates of your choice is available for your requests and allow us to secure your
rooms instantly. Doing it by phone/fax/email is subjected to our opening hours
and availability of our customer service agents.
What do I expect after I have made payment and confirmed my
booking?
As soon as you have confirmed your booking and made payment using credit card,
your booking will be confirmed instantly online, Also, your booking is
automatically sent to the hotel, an email will automatically be sent to you,
confirming your booking. This email will contain the link to your Confirmation
Voucher and receipt. The voucher needs to be printed out, signed and presented
at the hotel on your arrival. The receipt can be retained for your records - it
does NOT need to be presented to the hotel.
When will my credit card be charged?
Your credit card is charged immediately after you have filled in the "Booking
Details" page and click on "continue" button. Please note there are 2 methods
of payment which are detailed below: Full pre-payment The full
amount of the booking is charged immediately after credit card details are
submitted. Deposit payable A percentage of the booking cost is
charged as a deposit for your reservation. The balance is then paid directly to
the hotel upon your arrival. Whether it's full prepayment or deposit payable
will be outlined in your Itinerary on our "Booking Details" page.
I don't have a credit card, can I pay cash on arrival?
All bookings require either a full or partial pre-payment which you will
require to pay using credit card when making a booking. This will vary
depending on your choice of accommodation. For more explanation see Question
"When will my credit card be charged?" above. Upon arrival at hotel, you are
free to settle the balance (if any) with the hotel using any methods (cheques,
cash, credit cards etc.) that the hotel accepts.
Which credit card types do you accept?
The cards we accept are: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club,
Switch, Solo, BankCard (Australia & New Zealand Only), Maestro (NOT German
EC-card), Visa Electron. Please note that if you provide an American Express or
Diners Club credit card for payment of your booking, the transaction may be
charged in a different currency to the one in which your booking rates were
quoted. The cost of your booking is converted using the bank's exchange rates
on the day of the transaction.
Will the hotel receive my booking immediately?
Yes, we forward your booking details to the hotel as soon as the credit card
transaction is approved.
I have lost my voucher, what do I do?
You should have a copy of the Confirmation email with links to your voucher and
receipt. If not, to get another copy of your voucher, please go to "My Tour".
Once you enter your email address and password, you will be able to access a
page where your bookings are shown, select the booking and you can print
another copy of your voucher.

Amendment and Cancellation
What if I have paid for the booking and then want to make a
date change or any other amendment?
We understand that circumstances can arise where you may need to make an
amendment to your accommodation booking. Where the hotel permits amendments to
reservations, an amendment fee may apply (refer to
booking terms and condition for Last Minute Reservation).
Will I get a refund if I cancel my booking?
An administration cancellation fee applies to all bookings that are cancelled
after full payment is received and the booking is confirmed (refer to
booking terms and condition for Last Minute Reservation).
Additional cancellation fees depend on supplier policies, which are clearly
stated on the payment page. The earlier we receive your cancellation notice the
better the chance of avoiding supplier cancellation penalties.
