Description |
York House Hotel Lisbon occupies the ancient 17th century "Convento dos Marianos" building. This hotel is located in the Lapa Diplomatic area near Tagus and the ancient art museum. It has a decoration that respects its origin but add modern characteristic and a romantic atmosphere to it. The hotel interior has marble, tiles and polished wooden floors to create a serene and cozy atmosphere.
York House Hotel Lisbon has 32 air conditioned guestrooms that are decorated in contemporary lines and recreates the atmosphere of the seventeenth century. Most rooms have views of the river and roofs of Lisbon. Each room has telephone, satellite television, private bathroom and hairdryer.
Behind a pink painted wall, at the top of a flight of stairs, there is a terrace with a profusion of flowers and trees where peace is absolute. This corner is ideal for reading, having a drink, or simply absorbing the atmosphere of a different Lisbon.
Guests can dine by candlelight on the terrace, or in the dining room. The onsite restaurant serves traditional meals with an extensive wine list. Guests can also enjoy a post or pre dinner drink in the in-house bar. There are a business centre, conference facilities and massage centre where guests can use while staying here.
Guests should note that there is no lift, and due to the number of entrance stairs, the hotel is not suitable for people with walking difficulties. |
