Description |
The Langham Hotel London is Langham Hotel Group’s flagship property. It was opened in 1865 as Europe’s first Grand Hotel and had played host to royalty (from Princess Diana to Edward VII), foreign dignitaries (such as Napoleon III) and celebrities (through the ages from Mark Twain to Peter Sellers) for over 140 years. This hotel is a Victorian landmark that was restored and expanded in the 1990's with much of the original interior still intact today. In 2004 the Langham became the Flagship property of Langham Hotels International and a member of The Leading Hotels of the World.
The Langham Hotel London is situated in the heart of London's West End and is ideally near Regent's Park and only a short walk from the best of the capital's shopping, on Regent Street, Bond Street and Oxford Street. Theatreland is also very close along with a wide array of museums, restaurants and other tourist attractions.
This hotel boasts 427 guestrooms from the tastefully appointed Superior Rooms to the decadent luxury of the 236 square meters Infinity Suite there is something for everyone at this hotel.
Guests will enjoy the finest dining at the hotel’s onsite restaurants. Memories Restaurant (available for breakfast, lunch and dinner) serves British menu with continental twist. Palm Court serves continental breakfast, sophisticated snacks during the day and traditional English afternoon tea. There is also the Memories Cocktail Bar which serves pre and post dinner drinks and Chukka Bar, a quintessentially English Bar, with a polo theme that serves a comprehensive list of cocktails and drinks.

Getting there |
From London Heathrow:
The Heathrow Express into Paddington Station takes 15 minutes with a train leaving every 15 minutes, From Paddington 5 stops on the London Underground to Oxford Circus (10 minutes) and you’re at the Langham.
From London Gatwick:
The Gatwick Express takes 30 minutes and also leaves every 15 minutes coming into Victoria station. Then 5 minutes on the Underground to Oxford Circus and you’re at the Langham.
Mainline Railway Stations:
Euston Station - for the North of England is 10 minutes walk or less than 5 minutes in a London Taxi
Victoria Station - is 10 minutes away and offers a gateway to the South West and Windsor
Paddington Station – five stops on the London Underground and the west of England is your oyster.
Kings Cross Station – three stops away for access to the North of England and the fast train to Edinburgh.
