Description |
Relais & Chateaux Orfila Hotel Madrid occupies a small palace from the 19th century. It is situated in the residential area of the cultural and business district of Madrid. The palace was built in 1886 as the residence of a bourgeois family. During the 1920, due to the strong literary and theatrical interest of the family, they set up a theatre in this small palace, Orfila 6. Since then, many famous performances/plays were shown here. The theatre became a famous social venue for the society of Madrid. In 1990s, the building was reconverted into a hotel. The façade, the carriage entrance, the main stairway and the aristocratic ambience are all preserved carefully during the renovation.
The hotel became a member of Relais Chateaux since 2001.
Relais & Chateaux Orfila Hotel Madrid has 20 rooms and 12 suites. Each of the rooms are carefully designed and decorated, taking care of the slightest details so as to ensure comfortable and luxurious stays for the guests.
The hotel maintains a high standard of service. The guests are accorded with the best treatment that they could receive. There are restaurant, bar, tea room, convention room and a large garden to pamper our guests so that their stays are most memorable. |
