Plantage Hotel Amsterdam was originally designed in the 17th century as a garden called "PLANTAGE". Today, the hotel offers comfortable and well-maintained bedrooms that come with all the necessary amenities. Each room has comfortable box spring beds, color television (with over 30 programs), private shower/bathroom, hairdryer, safe deposit box, fridge and water heater. For the bigger rooms there are pantries.
The guests will have key of the front door of the hotel so that they can go in and out of the premises conveniently. The Plantage Hotel also offers facilities such as faxing and internet access. |

The Hotel Plantage is located opposite of the Amsterdam City Zoo called ARTIS.
BY AIR:
Train takes you from Schiphol Airport to Central Station Amsterdam.
FROM CENTRAL STATION:
tramline no 9: stop for the Zoo (=ARTIS):
"Plantage Kerklaan" (7th stop, incl. Central Station; tramtickets are sold on the tram)
BY CAR:
on the eastern section of the ringroad Amsterdam (A10) the ZOO Artis, is indicated with an sign with a little black elephant.
Take exit S114 and follow the signs (little black elephants) of our neighbour the Zoo.
CITY CENTRE:
follow the green signs ARTIS for walking tours in the centre.
