Locanda Ca Amadi Venice occupies a 14th century palace that was completely restored and transformed into a small and luxurious hotel located in the heart of Venice. Its location is close to the famous Rialto Bridge and the Fondaco dei Tedeschi. Only 10 minutes walking distance separates the hotel from Saint Mark’s Square (Piazza San Marco) and Canal Grande.
Cà Amadi has a rich history and was home to many famous people. It was Marco Polo’s house during the Venetian Republic and later home to Count Palatino Francesco Amadi, it gave shelter to German Emperor Federick III during his visit on 1452 and it was also part of the blockhouse belonging to The Morosini (an important Venetian family of the past).
