Description |
La Paloma offers visitors convenience, style and comfort rather than just a place to sleep. This spacious 110 sq. m. apartment features high ceilings, two large bedrooms sharing a walk-in closet, an ample, well equipped kitchen with breakfast nook, and a large dining room. The living room with sofa bed allows the apartment to sleep up to 6 guests.
The Paloma apartment is conveniently located in a central pedestrian zone just off the Ramblas near Plaza Catalunya. Attractive original features include wooden ceiling beams, decorative tiled floors and crafted carpentry. The renovated late 19th century building with elevator has a coach house style entrance with a high arched portal. Two balconies overlook the narrow pedestrian street, and tall french windows face the interior court. The apartment and the neighborhood reflect one of Barcelona´s most stylish and emblematic periods.
The apartment is only minutes from Barcelona´s most popular shopping areas, the Boquería Market, the MACBA Museum with its constellation of nearby galleries, and the many attractions of the Gothic Quarter. And just near the doorstep guests will find cafes, restaurants, bars with tapas, and small specialty shops selling fresh pasta, roasted coffee, cheeses, artisan bakery goods and many unique discoveries. Also nearby is the Canaletas fountain, near Plaza Catalunya. Legend has it that visitors who drink from this fountain are bound to return. |

Getting there |
Take either the Aerobus or the train from the Barcelona Airport to the Plaza Catalunya. From there it is a short walk to the apartment: go down the Ramblas and turn right on to Calle Bon Success. Follow that and take the first right on to Calle Sitges. Or take a taxi directly to the address. |

| Check in procedure | Guests have to contact the office of Visit Barcelona 24 hours prior to arrival, to organize the check in at the apartment. Check ins are made from 15:00 onwards. We will try to accommodate the client earlier if possible. (luggage drop off is available at the office)
PLEASE NOTE: For check ins after 18:00 hours there is a fee of EURO 20, and for those arriving after 01.00 (AM) there is a fee of EURO 35, which is payable upon check-in.
