Description |
Not part of a chain, this little gem of a hotel is highly recommended. Only twelve minutes walk from York Minster, ample private parking is provided at no extra cost. If you dont want to walk to the medieval city centre, then simply hop on the shuttlebus outside the hotel. Popular whisky bar open all day serving a good range of drinks and draft beers. Rooms are located around the main building, stone-flagged courtyard, and in a nearby late-Georgian annex. Broadband internet access is provided in the lobby, and free Wi-fi. Special Christmas and New Year Breaks available. Superior rooms (similar to those pictured) may be available for a little extra, subject to availability. |

Getting there |
Drive around the outer ring road (York By-Pass A64 or A1237) until you reach the Scarborough side of York (East). Turn into York on the A1036 from the Scaroborough double roundabout, and the hotel is located on the left hand side, just before the pedestrianised area. |

Ample private parking with close circuit camera. Walking distance to all York City Centre attractions (approx 1 mile), or alternatively, there is a good bus route available shuttling in and out of the center every 10 to 15 minutes until 9pm daily. |
