Description |
Heritage Auckland (The) is New Zealand's largest hotel. It is a unique hotel that occupies a historic former department store, which is a significant landmark building and a New Zealand icon. This wonderfully transformed hotel is located in the heart of the Central Business District (CBD) area just walking distance from the city's many attractions, including the Sky Tower, Casino, the shops of Queen Street and Auckland city's finest cafés and restaurants. Its position overlooks the sparkling Waitemata Harbour and exciting America's Cup Village.
Heritage Auckland (The) has two distinctive accommodation wings (the Hotel and the Tower) with 467 luxurious guestrooms. These rooms are well furnished and equipped with modern amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. The Hotel design presents delightful ornate touches that are carefully preserved from the building's past while the Tower offers a more contemporary design.
In the hotel premises, guests will find Hectors, an award winning restaurant and one of the most original architecturally designed restaurants in Auckland. There is also another restaurant, Azure, which is located in the Tower that can be booked for lunch or dinner functions. Other facilities in the hotel include the stylish Lobby Bar, 13 conference and banquet rooms, 2 gymnasiums, rooftop heated swimming pool, indoor heated lap pool, sauna, spa and tennis court. |
