HCC Saint Moritz Hotel Barcelona occupies a building dated back to 1883. This building is classified as a Historical Building by the Official Secretariat for Tourism. In 1990, after a complete refurbishing, the building reopened as a hotel. It went through another renovation in 2001 to introduce the latest technologies in hospitality to its guests.
The location of this hotel is envied by many as it is situated right in the center of Barcelona. Within walking distance from this property are La Pedrera and Casa Batllo, two of Gaudi most famous building/work. The hotel is also close to Plaza Cataluna, the city center.
There are 91 rooms in the hotel. Each room is equipped with satellite television, free Canal+, mini-bar, mini gym, telephone, safe deposit box, air conditioning, heating and free ADSL connection. The attached marble bathrooms are fully equipped with auxiliary telephone and hair dryer.
