Description |
Furama City Centre Singapore is located in the heart of Chinatown just a short distance away from the Financial and Civic district of Singapore. A new Mass Rapid Transit Station, MRT, (otherwise known as underground or metro) is located next to its doorstep providing convenient public transportation services to all other parts of the island. This area is also close to the Boat Quay and Singapore River which is teeming with many entertainments and nightlife.
Furama Hotel Singapore had just underwent a $22 million upgrading program to integrate modern luxury comforts, designs and styles to the hotel itself. There are 354 guestrooms with new amenities and comforts added to them. Each room now has data port point, direct broadband access, a wider and longer writing desk and bathroom with separate standing showers in addition to standard amenities. The designs of the rooms are stylish and chic so as to create warmth and comfortable setting.
There are three fine food and beverage outlets in the hotel. These are the Tiffany Coffee House, Furama Palace Chinese Restaurant and Heritage Bar. Guest will also find a pool and gymnasium for their relaxation. For the business travelers, the hotel has the perfect solution for their meetings, seminars, conventions and exhibitions. There are conference rooms and a column-less ballroom for capacity of up to 1000 people.
Japanese guests will be happy to note that the hotel has engaged 2 Japanese Nationals and 3 local staff who are fluent in Japanese to cater to their needs and look after them. As of 1 April 2005, hotel will have two specific floors cater only to Japanese travelers. |
