Aviz Hotel Lisbon and its equally acclaimed onsite restaurant is remembered by many to have been frequented by famous personalities as Maria Callas, Frank Sinatra, Ava Gardner, Amália Rodrigues and Calouste Gulbenkian (who made it his home during 13 years) from 1930s to 1960s. The hotel now occupies a more modern building but its concept of timeless beauty and hospitality, together with some of its original and priceless pieces of art have all been retained.

From the airport: follow the signs to the segunda circular highway. Take the exit to campo grande. Avenida republica towards saldanha square.
