Albergo Rigel Hotel Venice is built in the 60’s. This hotel is located on one of the islands of Venice, the only one that faces the Adriatic Sea on one side and the basin of St. Mark's on the other side. Basin of St. Mark sits in front of the famous Saint Mark’s Square (Piazza San Marco) which is the center of historic Venice. One added advantage of this island is the possibility of reaching it by car, avoiding the avoiding problems and costs of car-parking either in Mestre (mainland) or at Tronchetto (car-park).
Albergo Rigel Hotel Venice is walking distance away from the public boat services which run every ten minutes during the day and 30 minutes during the night. These services connect Lido within less than 15 minutes sails to St.Mark's.
There are 42 guestrooms in the hotel which has been recently renovated. There are 3 floors all which are accessible by the hotel elevator. Each room is tastefully furnished in modern style and equipped with attached bathroom, shower, air conditioning, direct dial telephone and television with satellite.
Breakfast is served to all guests each morning. However restaurant service is only available for group tours. Albergo Rigel Hotel Venice is surrounded by its cozy garden that offers a calm and peaceful setting for guests to relax. There is also a bar and room services available for guests. |

Getting there |
Arriving by car/coach : if you decide to reach the hotel by car/coach just follow the signs " Venezia-Lido, imbarco Ferry Boat " situated at the end of the long bridge connecting Venice to the mainland: the ferry boat line is N. 17, it runs every 40/50 minutes (cost varies up to size of car/coach). The ferry takes 30/35 minutes to reach the Lido.
You have also the possibility to park the car/coach in the garages of Piazzale Roma or Tronchetto terminals. In this eventuality you can take respectively the Public Boat line 51 or 82 (cost about 3 euro per person).
Arriving by plane: from Marco Polo airport you can choose :
- to use the public boat "Alilaguna" running almost every hour which will get you to the Lido in about 50 minutes at a cost of about 10,00 euro per person or
- to use the a private water taxi that will get you to the Lido in about 20 minutes at the indicative cost of 80.00 euro
