Technology used to protect your security
To ensure your security, all credit card transactions are encrypted with
128-bit SSL encryption, which is the industry standard in the market today.
This will ensure that the credit card information are encypted so as to make it
unavailable to any other party. We also do not store your credit card
information anywhere in our system.
This technology encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card information. The process of encryption takes the information you enter and converts it into bits of code that are securely transmitted over the Internet. This scrambled data cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet.
Fraud Prevention
We ask for your credit card security code in order to protect you from misuse of your credit card.
The security number is a unique 3 or 4 digits number printed on your card. This number is not embossed on the card
and is not printed on your credit card receipts hence other than the card holder, it is difficult for the others
to know it.
The security code serves as another barrier to protect you from credit card fraud and it's required when
you make a booking.
How do you know if a page is secure?
Only pages that require you to enter sensitive information e.g. credit card details or login password will be secured by SSL encryption.
To know if a page is secure, for Internet Explorer users:
- Look at the address bar of your browser, it should starts with "https://" instead of just "http://".
- Look at the bottom right of your browser, you should see a lock icon.
