Location is close to the beach and Olympic village, La Ramblas is just around 5 metro stops away. The neighborhood is developing, if you arrive in the morning, the area seems industrialized and but when shops open in the evening, the area is alive with a lot of choices for food. Breakfast is excellent.

I stayed in this hotel during my visit to Barcelona in Jun 2005. The hotel is quite new. The design is more inclined to traditional style. I did not quite like it because I prefer modern simple line. The hotel is very close to the metro. Thus going to other corner of Barcelona should not be a problem. This hotel is also within walking distance to the beaches.
