The 406-room Sheraton Amsterdam Airport Hotel & Conference Center offers direct access to arrival and departure halls at Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport. The hotel is steps from the Schiphol shopping plaza and about 17 kilometers from Amsterdam's city center.
The hotel's fitness centre, renovated in 2005, offers up-to-date equipment and Technogym fitness machines for the use of all guests. Guests can also enjoy the sauna, steam bath and relaxation room, whilst massages can be booked in advance. The hotel's aviation and travel themed restaurant serves a la carte meals, as well as an extensive all-day buffet on weekdays. A light menu is available in the casual Boomerang Bar, the informal Runway caf?, and in the striking atrium lounge with its cascading fountain.
Wireless Internet access is offered throughout the public areas for those with laptops, and the business centre has three PCs with high-speed Internet access, a workstation for laptop users, fax, printer, scanner, and copier. A PC is also available beside the lobby for complimentary sessions of up to 10 minutes. Conference facilities comprise 20 meeting rooms available in various configurations, of which the largest accommodates 500 delegates, and onsite parking is available for a fee.
