The *Casa Santa Maria Formosa*is situated in the historical centre of Venice, in one of the most prestigious areas of the City, With the easy access to all public transport, it is very near to St. Mark*s square and only a few steps from the Rialto Bridge. The Locanda is placed in an ancient palace, the Seventeenth Century home of a noble venetian family from which, after a skilful and careful restoration, nine rooms have been obtained each one finely furnished with epoch furniture. While still retaining the magical atmosphere of Seventeenth Century Venice, the most advanced technology has been used to improve the guests stay. All the rooms of the *Locanda* , protected by a magnetic key-card, are supplied with air-conditioning, satellite TV, direct-line telephone, safe, fridge-bar and hairdryer. In the morning the *Locanda* will be happy to serve a rich buffet style continental breakfast. Nota bene. OUR RECEPTION IS OPENED DAILY FROM 7,30 A. By public means* with the Alilaguna public motorboat service to Saint Mark*s Square, proceeding on foot to the hotel, ticket price Euro 10.00 per person. - Public transport stop *Rialto* Get off at the Rialto stop, go along a few metres to Campo San Bartolomeo. From there take *Sottoportico della Bissa* and walk along all of *Salizzada San Lio* at the end of this street turn left, after you have gone over a bridge follow the canal side until you reach *Locanda Santa Maria Formosa* - Public transport stop *San Marco* Cross St. Mark*s square, go under the Clock-Tower, the *calle* * street* is called the *Mercerie* When you arrive at the *Chiesa of San Zulian* leave the *Mercerie* go around the side of the Church and take the street that is directly after *Campo della Guerra*, this will take you to *Campo Santa Maria Formosa* . There, follow the canal and you will find our *Locanda*. By train* With private motorboat to the hotel, average fare Euro 65.00, or public water bus n1 or 82 to the Rialto stop , ticket price Euro 5.00 per person and on foot to the hotel.
