The board moved on to more modern premises from this B listed building for it to be converted into a stylish urban hotel in 1999. Set in a beautiful district of the city centre in the midst of the financial district, the main shopping thoroughfare is one block away, and nightlife is nearby for the more adventurous. The sympathetic refit and subsequent additions have given the ABode Glasgow both international standing and awards, whilst securing a place locally as a popular conference venue, eating place, gallery and hang out of some more well known guests. 63 Individually designed guestrooms at the hotel are split into the simple elegance of standard rooms, through the luxury of our large Junior Suites to the opulence of our executive suite. All have original artwork and dcor, with many boasting velvet wallcoverings, leaded windows and stained glass.
