The size of Indonesia is quite remarkable. This is Southeast Asia’s biggest country, fourth most populous country in the world, the biggest archipelago with more than 13,000 islands and the largest Muslim nation. Covering an area of more than 1.9 million square kilometers, its population stands at more than 225 million people. Half of these residents live on the island of Java.
