Australia is the sixth largest country in the world in term of land area. It has about 5 % of the world land's surface and stretches more that 4,000km from east to west and 3200 km from north to south. Its coastline is more than 36,000 km long.

There is an average of 2.5 people per square kilometer. 64 % percent of Australians stay in cities, mostly along the astern seaboard (from Melbourne to Brisbane) with some concentration in and round Perth.
With such big landmass and such diverse cultural mix, there is something for everyone in this country. And more importantly, Australia has many national parks and sites that are included on the World Heritage Register. Some of these sites are:
