Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa located within the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve (DDCR), was one of the twelve unique destinations and adventure routes in the world named by the National Geographic Adventure magazine. DDCR is the single reserve that protects almost 5% of Dubai’s land area under Decree and is managed as the region’s first National Park. The resort, one of Dubai's most luxurious resorts and its flagship environmental project, has been named as "one of the world's best ecotourism models" by the magazine.
