Nusa Dua and Sanur, Bali, is situated in the southeast tip of Bali
island.
Nusa Dua is primarily an area filled with luxury resorts run by major hotel
chains such as
Laguna Resort & Spa and
Grand Hyatt Bali. This area is filled with activities and houses several
facilities such as Internation Convention Centre and a Galleria Complex which
contains shops, restaurants, galleries, supermarket and a performance theatre.
Just outside Nusa Dua is the Bualu village, with hawkers selling fresh fishes
and shops selling handicrafts.
Sanur, just north of Nusa Dua, is Bali's longest-established resort. Unlike Nusa
Dua, this area has a quiet charm to it. This is one of the best place in Bali
for families and those seeking a relax and peaceful vacation. The place is well
equipped with pub, restaurants, cafes and shops for visitors conveniences.
Both area are not popular spots for divings. There are only a handful of
reasons why people would choose to dive here. If you are falling into one of
the following categories, then divings in Nusa Dua and Sanur would make sense.
